Philadelphia, PA - Wawa in conjunction with The Rooster is proud to introduce “Hoagies for Hope,” a campaign featuring the “Broad Street Meatball,” a collaboration specialty hoagie with profits upwards of $10,000 going to benefit The Broad Street Ministry.
Wawa Broad Street Meatball Benefits Hoagies for Hope
From April 1 thru April 30, visitors at any one of fifteen Center City Wawa locations as well as The Rooster, situated at 1526 Sansom Street, can order this exclusive sandwich developed by Wawa’s Own Chef Farley Kaiser along with local Chef Michael Solomonov of The Rooster. Ingredients consist of a toasted Amoroso roll, provolone cheese, garlic aioli, cherry pepper relish, meatballs, and parmesan cheese, with some gratification toward a great cause.
"We are excited for The Rooster to combine forces with Wawa in bringing the Broad Street Meatball Hoagie for the Hoagies for Hope campaign with proceeds going towards supporting the essential human services Broad Street Ministry provides for their guests,” mentioned Chef Solomonov.
The campaign was created to provide further attention and assistance to Philadelphia's Broad Street Ministry; an organization devoted to changing our city and our institutions by strengthening the needs of most vulnerable residents.
