Philadelphia, PAPhilly's Best Pastry Chefs Compete in Let Them Eat Cake! - Let Them Eat Cake attracts confectionery talent from throughout the Philadelphia area to partake in one of the biggest cake-off fundraisers in the country. With proceeds going to the Variety the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley. This unique event will take place this year at the Loews Hotel’s Regency Ballroom on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Featuring, some of the region's best pastry chefs who will undoubtedly bring this year’s theme "Mythical, Magical Beasts and Creatures” alive.


Area’s Best Pastry Chefs Compete in Over-the-Top Baking Event for Variety – the Children’s Charity’s 2020 Let Them Eat Cake

Let Them Eat Cake is celebrating its 17th year, Let Them Eat Cake has become one of the city’s premier culinary events. This year promises to be extra special with the theme “Mythical, Magical Beasts and Creatures”. With over 1000 attendees annually, this is a must-see and taste event for foodies of all ages. Festivities begin at 6 pm Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the Regency Ballroom in the beautiful LOEWS Philadelphia. For a donation $40 in advance, $50 at the door, attendees will have the opportunity to sample up to 40 different cakes with unlimited spirits and wine tastings

“Variety Works is a program that helps teens and young adults with disabilities find work in the community,” says Heather Rothman, “The accomplishments of this program has been phenomenal, but we couldn’t do it without the support of events like Let Them Eat Cake. Not only does this event have an amazing and delicious cake, but all proceeds go to helping us grow this program and help more people.”

This incredible evening of fun and food supports a fantastic cause! Funds raised go to support the Variety Works program, an innovative transitional service that takes teens and young adults with disabilities transition through our job coaching program to gain and sustain permanent employment.
