Philadelphia, PA - Kontrol a Secret Hidden Bar Underneath Tradesman’s, a subterranean bar known as Kontrol is located at 1320 Chestnut Street. This hidden underground bar extends the plotline and will be the second concept in the U-Bahn trilogy.

Kontrol is a secret passage bar and eatery which links the below the ground world of U-Bahn which will also lead to a new bar to will be announced shortly that will have an entrance off of Juniper Street. The three bars are going to create a trio of bars known as the U-Bahn Trilogy.
The Kontrol concept began when U-Bahn first opened in 2015. Teddy Sourias the owner of U-Bahn & Bru Craft & Wurst and Concepts Group sought to expand and invest even more in Midtown Village. Teddy made the decision to purchase out the lease at the adjacent property for what would turn out to be Tradesman’s upstairs and Kontrol downstairs.
Kontrol had been a year under construction. Up the stairs, while tradesmen was being built, Kontrol was actually also being constructed deep beneath the street level. Teddy sought to create something one-of-a-kind and unique where he could take his time. The team develop the concept in secret and announce the bar after it was completed and ready for its debut.
