Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Pour House Beer - The Pour House, a member of the P.J.W. Restaurant Group, announces the debut of Pour House IPA, by Victory Brewing Company. This is the fifth collaboration between the two legendary craft beer giants in the Philadelphia region.

PourHouse WingsHerb Roasted Hot Wings“We’ve been friends and collaborators with Victory since we launched PJW Copper Lager in 2007,” said Jim Fris, Chief Operating Officer of P.J.W. Restaurant Group.“We’ve now created five beers together, each one unique and an absolute pleasure to make. Victory understands our clientele’s appreciation for great, local beer and I can’t wait for them to try Pour House IPA.”

The collaboration's goal was to produce a beer that caters to all beer drinkers and after trying for myself I can confidently say they hit their mark.

This highly drinkable IPA gives subtle notes of hops without the overwhelming bitterness that typically puts off non-IPA drinkers. Pour House IPA is available by the pint for $5 in all three The Pour House locations and is running at a special $3 per pint for the remainder of June to celebrate the launch of this special new beer.

PourHouse Beer

Brewed exclusively for The Pour House by Victory Brewing Company, Pour House IPA is a cloudy IPA with a complex aroma that starts sharp and rolls into a sweet grape and citrus character over significant hoppiness that becomes distinctly tropical by the end. Brewed with Motueka, Mosaic, Lemondrop and Citra hops, the flavor is heavy with tropical hops and resin with a malty background. At 6.7% ABV, Pour House IPA is smooth and dry with a silky bitterness all complementing the final characterization of a piney, hoppy beer.
