Philadelphia, PA - The proprietors of Standard Tap and Johnny Brenda’s, have opened The International in Kensington at 1624 North Front Street, the previous location of Shenanigans below the El.


The bi-level establishment offers a bar on each floor; the first level drink station provides a relaxed bar alongside the DJ station. Upstairs, holds a Service Bar, along with a 70’s-themed experience and a imaginative cocktail program, which includes beverages created with the bar’s very own whisky, a partnership using Rowhouse Spirits. the bar also has a 24-tap Cruvinet Winebar with a perfectly curated collection from all-around the globe.

The International’s beer selection will focus on international beers. Spirits, will be fixed on localized brands. The menu produced by Chef Paul Lyons is yummy snack-heavy such as skewers, cheese-topped crostini, beet-cured salmon gravlax and selection of specialty sandwiches.

The International is open at 11 a.m. up until 2 a.m., Tuesday thru Sunday, and closed on Mondays, located at 1624 N. Front St. in Philadelphia.
