Each restaurant is dedicated to producing and serving top-quality hand-crafted beers and cuisine in a warm and hospitable setting, and all are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. In 2014, Zagat honored Iron Hill by naming them the most popular restaurant in Philadelphia, and their beers have earned 45 medals from the Great American Beer Festival in an unbroken 20-year winning streak that continues today.

NEWS - Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will showcase the very best of their scratch kitchen and craft brewery this March: in addition to their annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, they will host a variety of other fun beer-driven events at their Philadelphia-area locations:

St. Paddy’s Day (all locations)



All 12 locations will serve a special menu on St. Paddy’s Day, perfect for pairing with their from-scratch beers – especially O’Sullivan Stout, a classic Irish-style dry stout that’s black in color and served on nitrogen for a creamy mouthfeel that enhances its roasted malt flavor and pronounced dry finish. Featured dishes will include:

  • Potato and Leek Soup with chives
  • Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops with creamy horseradish sauce and lemon
  • Fried Cheese Curds with rosemary-truffle aioli and hot honey sauce
  • Corned Beef and Cabbage with Vienna Red Lager-braised red cabbage, boiled parsley potatoes, baby carrots, and Ore House IPA mustard sauce
  • Bangers and Smash, traditional grilled pork sausages with Yukon gold smashed potatoes, Abbey Dubbel Ale and onion sauce and crispy onion rings
  • Shepherd’s Pie, ground lamb with mushrooms, peas and cheesy smashed potatoes
  • Beef Stew with Irish Dry Stout, potatoes, carrots and green beans
  • Char-Grilled North Atlantic Salmon with champ potatoes, haricots verts, baby carrots, bacon and white wine-butter sauce
    Warm Irish Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream, whiskey sauce, and caramel

Weekend Happy Hour (Phoenixville, PA)



Starting on Saturday, March 10, Iron Hill Phoenixville will begin a weekend-only Happy Hour on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The restaurant will discount pints of their signature and seasonal beers by $2 and feature an inviting menu of brunch-inspired dishes (all items are only $7), including:

  • Truffled Potato Tots, with parsley and pecorino romano cheese
  • Coconut-Lime Spiced Chicharrones, with guacamole, fresh lime wedge
  • Beer-Braised Pork Poutine, with Belgian-cut fries, cheese curds, and house-made gravy
  • Chorizo Scotch Egg, with smoked paprika aioli
  • Char-Grilled Slab Bacon, with chipotle maple syrup

Barrels and Bacon (Maple Shade, NJ)

On Saturday, March 24 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Iron Hill Maple Shade will host their annual salute to bacon with Beer and Bacon, pairing strong end-of-winter beers with culinary specialties that feature bacon. Beers tapped for the occasion will include:

  • Bourbon Russian Imperial Stout, their famed Russian Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels with whole vanilla beans
  • Biere de Chard, an imperial saison that’s aged on wood for three months, imparting Chardonnay-like wine character and notes of tropical fruit
  • Barrel-Aged Biere de Mars Attacks!, a copper-colored, French farmhouse-style ale that’s fermented with a healthy amount of Brettanomyces
  • Cabernet Dubbel, a mahogany ale brewed in the style of a Belgian monastery with dark Belgian Candi sugar and distinct aromas of plum
  • Wild Pitch, a medium-bodied, light golden beer with distinct noble hop aroma and soft malt character, aged in a wine barrel for up to a year on blueberries for a dry, tart finish
  • Wild Plum Cannibal, Iron Hill’s famed The Cannibal, aged in a wine barrel with plum puree for over a year, with wild yeast for effervescent, complex character and notes of tropical fruit and wood

Beer and Girl Scout Cookies (Media, PA)

On Saturday, March 24 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Iron Hill Media will put a decidedly adult twist on Girl Scout Cookies with their fun and playful pairing menu. They will offer four inspired pairings with iconic sweets:

  • Shokolad Stout, a full-bodied imperial stout brewed with 44 lbs. of chocolate and aged with fresh cocoa nibs and whole vanilla beans
    Paired with Thin Mints®
  • Russian Imperial Stout, their award-winning full-bodied stout that starts with a complex, malty-sweet and high-roasted character and is wonderfully balanced with citrusy American hops
    Paired with Caramel deLites®
  • Rising Sun, an American IPA brewed with Japanese Sorachi Ace hops for unexpected notes of lemon and coconut
    Paired with Savannah Smiles®
  • The Polar Bear, a full-bodied golden imperial stout with cocoa and coffee beans imparting the dark roastiness expected from dark malt while flaked oats and lactose sugar lend enveloping mouthfeel
    Paired with Girl Scout S’mores®
