- Two of Philadelphia's well-known businesses, The American Pub along with Hank’s Gourmet Beverages, have joined up to offer customers a refreshing cool Root Beer Float, an adults-only, available year-round at the pub.
Philly’s Own American Pub and Hank’s Gourmet Beverages Give Consumers “The Hank’s Root Beer Floatini”
Pub proprietor Jerry Connor together with his mixologists have utilized Hank’s local Root Beer as the foundation for a great new signature cocktail, known as “The Hank’s Root Beer Floatini."
The drink combines Hank’s Gourmet Root Beer, vanilla vodka, Bailey’s Irish Crème plus a hearty dollop of Hank’s Root Beer Float Drizzle, and, a truly delicious secret sauce. The final result? “It’s something that combines the sweetness and texture of a classic Root Beer float with the potent, mature joys of the classic martini,” affirms John Salvatore, CEO of Hank’s Gourmet Beverages.
Connor states he had been prompted to develop Hank’s floatini after seeing Hank’s collaboration with Philly's own, Bassett’s Ice Cream and the Hank’s Root Beer Shake Float, which premiered to the consumers at Reading Terminal Market in July
