Philadelphia, PA - The Pineville Fishtown is proud to present Woman of Heart & Mind — a celebration of Joni Mitchell, performed by virtuoso pianist and singer/songwriter Hannah Reimann. The NYC-based artist’s one-woman show is both an homage to Joni Mitchell, who is considered to be one of the most gifted lights on the contemporary music scene for the past four decades, and a profoundly personal celebration of the healing power of inspiring music.

Reimann honors the iconic career of the incomparable Joni Mitchell with a selection of songs from Mitchell’s most influential era: the late sixties to the early seventies. The project began with her wish to perform the classic album Blue at The Bitter End (NYC’s oldest rock club) in 2012. She says “she was attracted to this seminal singer and composer by the spirit and sensuality of Mitchell’s unique tunes,” from the soulful “Blue,” “River” and “Woodstock,” to her upbeat standards like “Case of You,” “Both Sides Now” and “California.” “We are thrilled to have Hannah perform on our Steinway in our intimate second-floor lounge,” said The Pineville’s Chef/Owner Drew Abruzzese. “This will be a one-of-a-kind performance that I’m so excited to experience.”
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a prix fixe dinner. Guests can choose between Beef Bourguignon or Jumbo Lump Crab Au Gratin for an entree, and PVT Rice Pudding or Crème Brûlée for dessert (alcohol not included in the price). “We will gladly offer a vegan or vegetarian option or make any adjustments for those with any dietary restrictions or special requests,” said Drew. “Please let us know ahead of time when making reservations.” The show will begin at 8 p.m. “We encourage guests to arrive at 6:30 or so to enjoy a leisurely cocktail before dinner. It’s going to be a fantastic evening!”
