Aqimero is preparing to give customers all treats and no tricks with a special Pink Masquerade Halloween Party on October 31 st from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A delicious cocktail called “The Light” will be for sale throughout the evening, while Aqimero will be proud to donate a portion of the proceeds from this special event to Susan G. Komen Philadelphia.
The night will serve as an excellent alternative to your typical Halloween soirée. The elevated event will come complete with music and a lively atmosphere. Pink lighting will set the mood throughout the lounge, creating a relaxing and beautiful ambience. Aqimero’s sociable food and drink menus will be available for a frightfully delightful snack sure to please any hungry guest.
Pink costumes are encouraged but definitely not required to have a good time while supporting this meaningful cause. Aqimero Review
Inside the magnificent Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia rests an elegant restaurant known as Aqimero. Its Giant glass wall allows you to see right into the kitchen where the chef and the staff bustle about creating wonderful dishes. The wood fired oven backlit the entire event not only providing the flavors we were to experience but the silhouettes of the staff working diligently to provide us with a exceptional evening.
To share and enjoy we ate Tapas style with a cornbread and truffle honey butter that was a good combination of light and rich. Along with a smoked swordfish dip that was hauntingly flavorful.
The Aqimero salad was an awaking with its goat cheese mousse and spicy Caesar dressing making it a truly robust start. The adventurous Grilled Melon is a must try with its Serrano ham, blue cheese and candied walnuts that was sweet and bold on the tongue.
The Mussels paired with heirloom cherry tomatoes and herbs were succulent and tender and will not disappoint.
The beautiful array of spicy shrimp quesadillas with smoked bacon and chipotle salsa was both mesmerizing and perfect to share and admire.
Now onto the chefs special. It was a Pennsylvania Brook Trout that was in this writer's mind. “The best fish I have ever eaten.” This local trout with asparagus, mushrooms and honey-roasted eggplant, topped with spicy pumpkin seeds had no equal. I only wish to try it again and again. - T.M. Moore
