Philadelphia, PA - Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia Pa. - Scarpetta, an LDV Hospitality restaurant, has four already established and thriving elegant Italian dining at Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square.
The two-story, completely renovated space is a contemporary-chic addition to the Rittenhouse Hotel, replacing the previous Smith & Wollensky restaurant. Patrons can enter through the lower street level doors or the hotel lobby into the main bar area. Al a carte dinner is served on the second level exposing the floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful view of Rittenhouse Park.

Three-course Prix fixed meal for $35
From 9/9 – 9/14, savor tried & true favorites, with first course options such as Raw Yellowtail (olio di zenzero & pickled red onion) or Seafood Salad (bay scallops, shrimp, crab, sliced tomatoes, corn, fries & lemon vinaigrette) and second-course offerings including Lobster Gnocci (basil, cherry tomato & lobster jus), Seared Scallops (spinach truffle puree, rosemary, apples & black trumpet mushroom), or Filet Mignon (asparagus, fingerling potatoes, trumpet mushrooms, truffle butter). End on a sweet note with a dessert choice, including Scarpetta’s signature Espresso Budino, Valrhona Chocolate Cake, or Sticky Toffee Pudding.
For those too busy to make it out for the anniversary, Scarpetta participates in Center City District Restaurant Week (9/15 – 9/27) with another 3-course Prix fixed menu ($35) for an extraordinary meal that won’t break the bank!
Scarpetta offers a distinctly bold menu, including signature handmade in-house pasta, raw, and cooked seafood, various meat choices, and vegetarian or vegan options. High quality and local seasonal ingredients are used to execute the dishes with superb attention to detail and originality. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating due to the required training program held at other locations before opening. The training program aims to ensure a full understanding of the Scarpetta culture, menu awareness, tasting, and how ingredients are selected.
